Private and Semi-Private Swim Lessons provide exactly what you or your child want and need to build skills in the water. Our certified Water Safety Instructors work with you to come up with tailored, individual lesson plans. Move along at your own pace, with time to focus on specific skills during a lesson. Lessons can be scheduled any time time the pool is open. Packages may be split in to 30, 45, or 60-minute sessions. Private and Semi-Private Swim Lesson are available for participants ages 2 and older.

Private and semi-private lessons are sold in 2, 4, or 6-hour packages. For children or inexperienced swimmers, we recommend 30-minute lessons once or twice a week. For experienced swimmers, we recommend 30-minute or 60-minute lessons on a weekly or biweekly basis.

For semi-private lessons, all participants must be registered and have submitted payment before lessons may begin. We do not offer participant matching for solo participants wishing to sign up for semi-private lessons.

Private Lesson Policies:

• A parent/guardian must remain on the pool deck within sight and sound of minors participating in swimming lessons.
• Please provide at least twenty-four (24) hours notice to your instructor if you must cancel a lesson. Failure to provide appropriate notice may result in the lesson being counted as missed, and the full scheduled time will be deducted from your package.
• If you are less than fifteen (15) minutes late to a scheduled lesson, the instructor reserves the right to end the lesson at the originally scheduled time and deduct the full scheduled time from your package. If you are more than 15 minutes late, the instructor reserves the right to count the lesson as missed and deduct the full scheduled time from your package.
• RecWell does not offer refunds for missed or shortened lessons due to absence or tardiness.
• All private and semi-private swim lesson packages must be completed within six (6) months of purchase. Any unused lesson time will expire after 6 months.  RecWell does not provide refunds or credits for unused lesson time when packages expire.
• Refunds for private or semi-private swimming lessons must be requested within thirty (30) days of purchase. After 30 days, no refunds will be approved. If one or more packages has been used within the initial 30 days, any refunds will be prorated accordingly (total cost less the percentage used).
